Has anyone else noticed that after going 0-27 last week, Ramirez has been hitting much better? It seems to me that once he changed to the pants and the high socks, he has been hitting the ball much better.

Ramirez said: "Friends of mine in the Dominican say I look good like that. They say I look faster."

I vote for the entire team changing to the shorter pants and high socks. It looks more old fashion and looks like historic baseball.

I like the change and I believe it has made him hustle more. I have noticed that he is running hard down to first on routine infield ground outs. He used to walk to first on those. I am happy to see the effort. I think that every player should run hard on every play. It not only shows the player is putting 100% into it, but also that the player takes his job and the responsibility of making millions a year seriously.

I'm really digging the new style. Looks great, lets hope he gets out of this road slump soon tho!
