My first experience at 3639 was very good. As I arrived, I walked right in with no wait and spoke to the friendly staff at the lower level. Initially, the lower level looks like a condo that is being remodeled, but it appeared that the lower levels were still under construction. There also looks to be a condo unit or maybe a few in this building.

The 3rd floor contained a bar and lounge area. It also had wonderful pictures of not only the history of the building, but the history of the Cubs and baseball itself. It was very interesting to look at some of the pictures. The 4th floor looked to be staff only. The 5th floor was an open section that was covered from the elements (it was raining the day I visited 3639). It had seating and a bar, as well as a lounge area and bathrooms. The top floor had a bar and a grill where Burgers were served.

The waitresses at each bar were very friendly. What was different at this facility was that the staff walked around with pizza, sandwiches and other food and offered them to you at your tables.

I actually ventured up to the roof in the rain to test out the burgers. The grillers were very friendly and were happy to have a visitor in the rain. The burgers were decent!

The bleacher section presented a very good view. Taller chairs were lined up behind the bleachers, which made viewing easier. There was also a small bleacher platform in front of the bleachers for people to stand and watch the game.

Towards the end of the event, the staff actually walked around serving cookies, brownies, and other snacks.

Overall, 3639 had a great layout, which provided privacy in the lounge, and great views of Wrigley. The wait staff was wonderful and every single staff member was more than friendly to our party. Entry was not a problem. I would go back to 3639 any chance I can get!
