My first experience at Wrigley Field Rooftop Club was decent. There was disappointment early when it took nearly 30 minutes to enter the building. You'd think a setup like this would have an attendant on a computer checking you in, but the one attendant paged through nearly 30 pages of names to find you and was not friendly whatsoever. Though I took the stairs nearly 5 flights, those with disabilities could take an elevator to each floor.

Once you enter, the building is quite impressive. Totally remodeled, the building features a reserved level, which was unaccessable to me and for a private party. Above that, was the bar and grill, which served some pretty good food, including cheese burgers, cookies, and ice cream. The bar had one waitress so it was clear they controlled your beverage intake by not being as accessible as they could be.

The top level also had a bar with one waitress and also featured the bleacher (no pun intended) section. The bleachers were very nice and the view was spectactular.

It was also strange not to really see that many staff members available. Though few and far between, the waitresses and guys on the grill were friendly.

Rating:
Accessibility: 3/5
Food: 4/5
View: 5/5
Staff: 3/5

Total Score: 15/20

Overall, Wrigley Field Rooftop Club is a new facility and had a great view, but the staff was usually nowhere to be seen and if you wanted to get there when the building opened, you better come an extra hour early!
